About our privacy statement
We care deeply about your privacy. Therefore, we only process data that we need for (improving) our services and handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We will never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.

This privacy statement applies to the use of the website and the services provided through it. The effective date for the validity of these terms is 15/08/2022. When a new version is published, the validity of all previous versions expires. This privacy statement describes what data we collect about you, what we use it for, and under what conditions we may share this data with third parties. We also explain how we store your data and how we protect it against misuse, and what rights you have with regard to the personal data you have provided to us.
If you have any questions about our privacy policy, please contact our privacy officer. You can find the contact details at the end of our privacy policy.

Data processing
Below you can read how we process your data, where we store it (or have it stored), which security techniques we use, and who has access to the data.

Website software

WordPress
Our website is developed using software from WordPress via Mooi Online. Personal data that you provide to us for our services is shared with this party. Mooi Online has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support, but they will never use your data for any other purpose. Based on the agreement we have with them, Mooi Online is required to take appropriate security measures. Mooi Online uses cookies to collect technical information about your use of the software, but no personal data is collected and/or stored.

Web Hosting

Mooi Online
We use web hosting and email services from Mooi Online. Mooi Online processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party can collect metadata about the use of the services, which are not personal data. Mooi Online has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. Based on the confidentiality agreement, Mooi Online is obliged to maintain confidentiality.

Email

Mooi Online
We use the services of Mooi Online for our regular business email traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss, and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Mooi Online does not have access to our mailbox, and we treat all email traffic confidentially.

Purpose of data processing
General purpose of the processing
We only use your data for our services, and the purpose of processing is always directly related to the order you have given. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing unless you explicitly allow us to do so. If you share your data with us and we use this data to contact you at a later time – other than at your request – we will ask for your explicit consent. Your data is not shared with third parties unless it is necessary to comply with accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to confidentiality under the agreement between them and us, an oath, or a legal obligation.

Automatically collected data
Data that is automatically collected by our website is processed to improve our services. This data (such as your IP address, web browser, and operating system) is not personal data.
Cooperation in fiscal and criminal investigations
In certain cases, Mooi Online may be required to share your data in connection with fiscal or criminal investigations by the authorities. In such a case, we are obliged to share your data, but we will oppose this within the possibilities that the law offers us.

Retention periods
We keep your data for as long as you are a client of ours. This means that we will keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you inform us of this, we will also consider it a request for erasure. Based on applicable administrative obligations, we are required to retain invoices containing your (personal) data, so we will retain this data for as long as the relevant period runs. However, employees will no longer have access to your client profile or documents that we have produced in response to your assignment.

Your rights
Under applicable Dutch and European legislation, you as a data subject have certain rights with regard to the personal data processed by or on behalf of us. Below, we explain what these rights are and how you can exercise them. In principle, to prevent misuse, we will only send copies and copies of your data to your email address already known to us. In case you wish to receive the data at a different email address or by mail, we will ask you to identify yourself. We keep a record of completed requests, and in the case of a request for erasure, we keep anonymized data. All copies and copies of data you receive will be in the machine-readable data format that we use within our systems. You have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority at any time if you suspect that we are using your personal data in the wrong way.

Right of access
You always have the right to access the data we (have) process(ed) that relates to your person or is traceable to it. You can make a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a copy of all data with an overview of the processors who have this data under their control, stating the category under which we have stored this data.

Right to rectification
You always have the right to have the data we (have) process(ed) that relates to your person or is traceable to it, adjusted. You can make a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation that the data has been adjusted to the email address known to us.

Right to limitation of processing
You always have the right to limit the data we (have) process(ed) that relates to your person or is traceable to it. You can make a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation that the data will no longer be processed until you lift the restriction.

Right to data portability
You always have the right to have the data we (have) process(ed) that relates to your person or is traceable to it, carried out by another party. You can make a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you copies or copies of all data about you that we have processed or that have been processed by other processors or third parties on our behalf. In all likelihood, we will no longer be able to continue the service in such a case, because the secure linking of data files can no longer be guaranteed.

Right to object and other rights
In certain cases, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of Mooi Online. If you object, we will immediately stop processing the data pending the handling of your objection. If you object and your objection is well-founded, we will provide you with copies and/or copies of data that we process or have processed (by third parties on our behalf) and then permanently stop processing them. You also have the right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making or profiling. We do not process your data in such a way that this right applies. If you believe that this is the case, please contact our privacy officer.

We reserve the right to change our privacy policy at any time. However, you will always find the most recent version on this page. If the new privacy policy affects the way we process data already collected about you, we will notify you by email.
